Now Open: The Guinn Center's 2026 Policy Priorities Survey

December 17, 2025

Jianna von Savoye

Looking back on 2025, the Guinn Center has made significant strides in advancing data-driven policy recommendations that lawmakers across the aisle have utilized. During the 2025 legislative session, Guinn Center research topics were reflected in 70 proposed bills, 24 of which were enacted, regarding healthcare access, school funding, housing affordability, and other complex issues that shape the lives of Nevadans. 11 of the 24 enacted bills incorporated our specific policy recommendations.

Now, it’s time for us to look ahead at our research priorities for the coming year. We believe in working alongside our community to strengthen the state we call home through actionable and effective policy solutions. The first and most important step in this mission is listening to and learning about your concerns.

Please consider participating in and sharing our 2026 Policy Priorities Survey, a brief questionnaire that asks which issues deserve our focus in the year ahead—critical topics like energy policy, economic development, elections, disability services, childcare, and much more. Data collected from the survey thus far shows growing interest in the AI workforce economic transformation and affordability.

The survey will remain open until early 2026. Thank you for your support, partnership, and honest feedback.
