Megan Salcido

Research Editor and Coordinator

Megan Salcido draws on a career spanning law, government affairs, and consulting as Project Coordinator at the Guinn Center. She reviews and edits reports, briefs, and other publications, supporting projects throughout the editorial and production process to ensure the organization’s work is clear, accurate, and accessible.

Before joining the Guinn Center, Megan served as Government Affairs Coordinator for the City of Reno, where she helped develop legislative priorities, prepared legislative materials and reports, and coordinated intergovernmental activities. She also served as a law clerk for the Nevada Supreme Court, conducting legal research and assisting with drafting judicial opinions, before practicing law in the private sector.

Megan earned her Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a Bachelor of Science in International Business from the University of Nevada. A native Nevadan, she is passionate about serving her home state through the Guinn Center’s work. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and volunteers as a youth baseball and softball coach in her community.
