Kimberly Marsh Guinasso

Legal Analyst

Kimberly Marsh Guinasso is licensed to practice law in the State of Nevada and provides legal analysis complementary to the policy analysis conducted by the Guinn Center.  Practicing primarily in the area of government affairs, Kim has experience working in private practice as well as serving several years with the Legal Division of the Nevada Legislative Counsel Bureau including a position as Legal Counsel and Bill Drafting Adviser to the Nevada Assembly.  Kim has extensive experience in drafting legislation and providing legal analysis covering a wide range of issues including worker’s compensation, taxation, government finance, transportation, public works projects, elections, campaign finance, utilities and administrative law.  


Kim received her law degree from Duke University School of Law in Durham, North Carolina and her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.  She is a proud native Nevadan who has a particular affection for the rural parts of the Silver State.
