
Emma Peak is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, where she earned a degree in Political Science and International Affairs. Her interest in government began through participation in her high school’s We the People program, where she developed a particular focus on election policy and reform. Emma has held internships with the City of Reno’s Innovation and Experience Department and with U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen’s office. After serving as a Legislative Intern with the Guinn Center, she continued with the organization as the Outreach and Engagement Coordinator and now serves as the Research Assistant. She plans to further build on her professional experience by pursuing a Master's degree in Political Science beginning in Fall 2026.
