Nevada Lithium Circular Economy Conference

The University of Nevada-Reno is holding a two day conference featuring conversation and collaboration focused on the Lithium Circular Economy in Nevada — a complete lithium supply chain, from resource management of critical materials, to the rejuvenation, repurposing, and recycling of lithium batteries, and to the reinvention of the future generations of batteries. The agenda will include panel discussions on trends in battery technology, workforce and economic development, and the future needs for a successful lithium circular economy. Speakers will include experts in innovation ecosystems, members of experienced research alliances, and individuals from key Nevada organizations and agencies. Breakout groups will give attendees an opportunity to learn what the key stakeholders have already been working on, and to give input and feedback to expand ideas.
