Paul Johnson is a seasoned Chief Financial Officer with more than 25 years of executive experience in public-sector finance, education funding, and organizational operations. He currently serves as CFO for the Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA), Las Vegas Valley Water District (LVVWD), and Big Bend Water District (BBWD), providing strategic financial leadership and oversight for major regional water agencies.
Previously, Paul served as CFO for the White Pine County School District, where he directed all fiscal, administrative, and operational functions. His expertise spans strategic financial planning, budgeting, public-sector compliance, risk and asset management, and legislative fiscal policy.
Paul holds an MBA and a Master of Science in Management & Leadership from Western Governors University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He has been recognized statewide for his contributions to education funding and fiscal policy and has served on key Nevada advisory bodies, including the Nevada Commission on School Funding, the Commission on Innovation and Excellence in Education, and the Committee on Local Government Finance (CLGF).
