Join Our Team as the Next Director of Education Policy
Guinn Center Team

The Guinn Center is pleased to announce the opening of a strategic leadership role: Director of Education Policy. This position will guide the Center’s statewide education research portfolio, shaping studies that span early childhood, K–12, higher education, and workforce development. As the organization’s lead education expert, the Director will conduct and oversee rigorous, nonpartisan research while ensuring that every publication maintains the Guinn Center’s commitment to analytical integrity and data-driven insight.
Beyond research, the Director will play a central role in public engagement—serving as a spokesperson for education policy, representing the Center in high-visibility forums, and sharing findings with legislators, agency leaders, educators, and community partners across Nevada. The position also supports the Center’s collaborative mission by building relationships with statewide stakeholders, developing grant opportunities, supervising research staff, and contributing to high-impact policy discussions that inform decision-making at all levels.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled researcher and communicator who is passionate about advancing thoughtful, evidence-based education policy. As the Guinn Center continues to expand its work on issues that shape the future of Nevada’s learners and communities, the Director of Education Policy will play a key part in driving meaningful, objective, and solution-oriented research.
